  We avoid the servo at yass and do a pit stop on our travels into the Royal for a scotch fillet cooked to perfection. The kids demolished their food everytime. The pepper sauce is good ☺

  Great pub food, bar is comfortable and the staff are brilliant. My glass is never empty long at the Royal.

  After reading recent reviews we decided to give this place a try for dinner, and boy did we regret it.
  
  Lots of places will support good, local produce. This place does not.
  
  The bangers and mash was cheap, supermarket sausages (thick) with pre-packaged 'gravy' (gravox most likely). The mash... it came out as a solid block that you had to mash yourself. On the plus side, the veggies were a nice mix of broccolini, carrot and snow peas, and cooked well (still had crunch).
  
  The pizza was nothing great either. The base was super thick, doughy and very dry. Looking at it there seemed to be an alright mix of toppings, yet it was amazingly bland.
  
  Also, somehow two beers was $18....
  
  Staff were helpful though.
